The Challenge
PropLogix’s strategic decision-making often relied on intuition and anecdotal evidence rather than robust, data-driven insights, causing uncertainty and inefficiencies in resource allocation and business prioritization. At the same time, the company faced significant operational and technical barriers to modernizing its processes. Data was fragmented across numerous sources, complicating consolidation and integration efforts.
Critical tasks like property quoting and research were predominantly manual, time-consuming, and repetitive. With bulk orders, the customer experience team would have hundreds of properties to quote manually and a single person would previously dedicate 25-30 hours a week on this.
Day-to-day operations required labor-intensive workarounds—including secure shell access, crontab editing, and manual code updates—which were not only inefficient but also prone to errors. Reproducibility challenges, stemming from discrepancies between local (Windows) and production (Linux) environments, further hindered deployment and collaboration. Operating in the traditionally slow-to-modernize title services sector, PropLogix sought to overcome these challenges by reimagining due diligence workflows and paving the way for a scalable, data-driven future.
