That’s why we’re excited to introduce Error Assist, a brand new, experimental AI-powered feature on Connect Cloud designed to speed up your troubleshooting experience.

 

What is Error Assist?

 

Error Assist is a digital partner for navigating deployment woes. When a deployment for an application or document fails, you’ll now see a prominent “Check Errors” button.

Clicking this button securely transmits information from your application logs to an AI model to help identify the root cause of the error and suggest potential fixes. Think of it as having an expert troubleshooter by your side, ready to offer insights based on your specific code issues.

This opt-in service is easy to use:

  1. Deployment Fails: If your deployment encounters an issue, the “Check Errors” button will appear.
  2. Log Analysis: Clicking “Check Errors” securely sends your relevant application to the AI model for analysis.
  3. Intelligent Guidance: After processing your logs, Error Assist provides refined guidance on potential causes and suggested solutions.

 

Data Privacy and Security Remain Our Top Priority

 

We understand that data privacy and security are paramount. Rest assured, Error Assist on Connect Cloud leverages AWS Bedrock and your logs and any other inputs are never shared with the model provider and remain private throughout the entire analysis process.

As Error Assist leverages the power of artificial intelligence, there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Experimental Feature: Error Assist is an experimental feature, meaning it’s still evolving. We’ll continue to enhance its capabilities and helpfulness.
  • Guidance Only: The insights provided by Error Assist are generated by an AI model and should be considered a helpful starting point for your troubleshooting. 
  • User Responsibility: Always review and verify the suggested solutions before implementing them. Ultimately, diagnosing and resolving deployment errors remains your responsibility.
  • No Guarantees: While we strive to provide useful next steps, there are no guarantees that Error Assist will always identify the exact cause of every error or provide a perfect solution.
