Wes McKinney
Wes is an open source software developer best known for creating the Python pandas project and writing the book Python for Data Analysis. He is a Member of the Apache Software Foundation and part of the PMC for Apache Arrow and Apache Parquet. He also co-created the Ibis project for Python and has contributed to statsmodels and many other open source projects. He was the co-founder and CEO of DataPad, and latest worked for Cloudera and Two Sigma leading efforts to improve performance and interoperability for data science in Python.
