Dairy research faces data volume and variability challenges. DairyNZ's Modern Science Workflows project addressed this via infrastructure, capability, and business disciplines.

DairyNZ has enabled large dataset projects utilising machine learning, which would not have been possible before partnering with Posit and Snowflake (e.g., animal sensor data analysis).
